What a Mistake buying the wrong Scratchcard
Posted on November 12, 2009 by Tom Jones
Talk about a mistake that cost and was a special joy for another person. A scratch card error saw a person win a million pounds. A bingo hall worker purchased a lottery jackpot and the clerk gave the wrong scratch card to her. What happened was Audrey White headed into do some shopping at her local supermarket. Figuring she’d take a bit of a chance she went to buy a ticket. Well she had requested one little duck, but man alive. Instead of pulling out the 2 pound ticket she asked for she was instead given a 5 pound ticket.
She had already won 5 pounds on another ticket she had bought, so figured she might as well try again. But instead of doing the ticket there, she waited until she got home. It was then that she got what was to be the shock of her life. She is a mother to three children and just three short years ago was facing her home being repossessed. But now she can afford to pay off that mortgage, and in fact is going to even buy a new conservatory. She takes the bus to her job at the Palace a bingo hall located in Felixstowe. She isn’t going to quit her job, but does plan on changing the way her finances will be managed.
Now she has a private bank manager and a private bank account. It’s wonderful news when someone who needs the help with some money gets lucky. Fabulous news and I’m sure that her children are just excited for their mom. Congrats to you Audrey and I’m happy that you got the wrong ticket. Best wishes and good luck with all that fun money you now have!
