The I Can’t Believe it File

Anyone who knows about online bingo should know the name of “two fat ladies 88” and what it means. But it seems that in the town hall located at Sudbury, Suffolk they can’t say that anymore. Not when the bingo caller is calling those games. That and “Legs 11” have been banned from being said. No one actually complained about those phrases being used to call the game, but the council became nervous. Thinking that someone may be offended by those phrases being said, so they told the caller he wasn’t allowed to use them anymore.
Now the way of calling those bingo games is back to the same old boring monotonous style. Numbers just being called and nothing extra added like the “two fat ladies 88” or “legs 11” to add something to the game. It’s sad to say that people instead of having a bit of fun and adding humor to life have to worry about things like this. Anyone who is playing bingo at the hall should know and be prepared to hear these phrases.
But since it wasn’t anyone who plays bingo, but the council, who probably none of them even know what the phrases mean. Well it’s another aspect of people becoming involved in something that was better left alone. And there are tons of examples in the world of that let the bingo game be called in a fun way. Isn’t it a sad day when something that is really so simple and just meant to be fun is looked at in this manner. Perhaps the council will take its nose back out of this business and let the caller get back to the fun way of doing the game. Let’s hope so for all those players at the hall.
