Say Goodbye to another Bingo Hall

Just when you thought times were getting better, more bad news slips out. It’s another bingo hall that is set to close and that means one less place to head out and play your bingo. Not that you can’t find a place online, but some people just love the fact of playing at one of those bingo halls. It’s something that is fun and well the excitement during a game can be measured by how thick the air around you gets. It’s something that is fast becoming a way that someone may never be able to really experience.

Most of the bingo halls have faded into the ways of the past due to many problems that have come up. One of the situations that were cause of many of a bingo hall closing was the ban on smoking. It’s quite hard to understand if you don’t smoke, but well it’s only a natural thing for a smoker to want to light up a cigarette when they are playing. But when you can’t do that you simply find another place to be able to smoke and play at. In many cases this has now become your own home!

The victim this time around is that Lyric club that is located in Wellingborough. They’ve been hit hard by not only the smoking ban but just the economy and how many people just don’t have the time and money to play at a bingo club. Taxes have really put a hit on them and made it so that they now have to close the doors and it means one less bingo hall to play at.

If you’ve never been to a bingo hall before you might want to head out while you still have a shot at playing. It’s something that is quite entertaining, and before it’s a way of life that is no longer available everyone should try and experience it at least one time.
