The Queen Heartbreakingly Decides Not To Replace Her Beloved Pets

The Queen and her corgies have become almost an institution in themselves. They have become symbolic of the Queen herself so much so they were even featured in an official photograph, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of her reign.
The Queen’s fondness for her Corgies began when she was a young girl of 10 and her mother gave her Susan the corgie as a gift. All of the dogs the Queen has owned since then have been descendants from Susan, which explains her devotion to them. This love for her dogs is apparent in the fact that they eat from silver dishes and even have their own bedrooms.
Sadly, two of the Queens pooches have died leaving the Queen with the heartbreaking decision of not replacing them. Although breaking a 65 year old tradition is sad it reflects the Queen’s logical side, as the Queen is now 83 and will be 90 before her younger dogs reach old age.
