Can Can Bingo!

Before you get carried away thinking of sexy blondes and sultry brunettes flashing frilly knickers, this is a different, ‘can can’ altogether. In Jackson, America, the local Bartley Healthcare have added a new twist to their bingo nights. Instead of bingo simply being self gratifying they have turned the game into a way to help others.
The clever pun on ,’Can Can’ actually refers to food baskets which will be complied from donated food to be given to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. All potential bingo players will bring with them between one to four items of non-perishable food. They will then have the chance to also buy raffle tickets and win gift baskets during the event.
No one can disagree that this idea makes everyone a winner, because even if your numbers don’t come up you can leave with the satisfaction of having done a good deed.
