A break for Alabama and Bingo

A break for Alabama and bingo in some news that may be welcomed by many people who are living in Alabama. The two people who are running for the position of mayor for Birmingham both support electronic bingo. That’s great news because with all the money that can bring into the state, they need to support it. The joke by one of those people running is that they are Catholic on the issue. Now please people don’t get upset because he was referring to the tradition that they play bingo to raise money. It’s something that is frequently done in many Catholic churches.
What’s great is that this isn’t a moral issue that has been made by so many people. It won’t bring in criminal organizations to your location or crime. But it will bring in money, crime is going to happen no matter what. It would be interesting to see what will happen once the election is complete and one of these two are in charge. Since many legislatures on working on other ways to get laws through on bingo. Changing the definition of the game and all that kind of stuff. Looking at it more from a human stand point and how many people could be employed at a bingo hall in many positions. That’s what they should be doing, all the people who would come in and spend money. Money that could go into changing or upgrading things in different locations. Plus the sense of pride that many people would have because they finally have a job and can feed their family. Something that it seems isn’t looked at very often when it comes to discussing the pros and cons of whether bingo should be allowed in Alabama or not.
